The two differences
between the 1971 and the 1972 was the 1972 had amber front
turning lamps and chrome plating on the egg-crate grills.
1973 production
is missing 4,000 serial numbers. The last serial number is
34,464 yet only 30,464 units were built.
1979 was the
highest production year in Corvette history with 53,807 units
built.
1981 Corvettes were
produced in both Bowling Green and St. Louis. |
